Facebook Announced to Make its First Smart Glasses, Branded with
Ray-Ban.


There is big good news for the Facebook user that Facebook has finally announced, it will launch its first AR Smart Glasses branded with Ray-Ban. The Facebook first smart glass will be released by 2021.
It features
has not been made clear yet, but from some news, it is clear that the device
will not have any integrated display of any kind.

This new Facebook AR Smart
Glasses may replace the smartphones and may be used for making calling and
showing info on display like Sci-Fi movies. Future is not very far.
This announcement was made by CEO Mark Zuckerberg during
the opening keynote of its all-virtual Facebook Connect Conference. The big
social media Facebook Group is working closely with Luxottica, the maker of
Ray-Ban, to launch its first Smart Glasses. They also announced the next-gen
Quest 2 wireless VR headset.
Facebook and Luxottica made a partnership to make the first pair
of Smart Glass by 2021. The Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg said " After
spending time with their team and visiting their factory, I knew that they were
the right partner for us to help bring the best technology together with the
best AR Smart Glasses." in the Facebook connect Livestream Conference.
During the conference, Mark Zuckerberg also announced Project Aria. What is Project Aria? It is a kind of research device or tool, that facebook company's employees will wear during developing the consumer eyewear.
According to the Bosworth, this Project Aria is a research device and these
particular glasses will not be for sale and will feature no augmented reality
features. As it will be a smart device, so it will have features like capturing
the video, audio, eye-tracking and location data that that will help in
developing the upcoming AR Smart Glasses.
